instruction. Our staff members have also earned New York State certifications in
teaching, early childhood development, and health coaching, ensuring that our

Taecole was presented with the PTA Service award in 2023 for their unwavering
commitment to the youth of NYS.
Our founder, Master Messina, is a trailblazer in the martial arts world. As one of the first
women martial arts instructors, she shattered gender stereotypes in an industry
predominantly dominated by male teachers and practitioners. Master Messina's
success in owning and operating her own school paves the way for the next generation
of female martial artists.
Since its inception in 2001, TAECOLE has been a pillar of our community. We actively
contribute to the welfare of our neighborhood by conducting FREE seminars for
various organizations, including the Girl and Boy Scouts of America, NYS Girl's
Organizations, Temple Beth Shalom, Temple Sinai, School and numerous public and
private schools throughout NYS. Our goal is to ensure the safety of our neighborhood
kids and empower them to believe in their limitless potential.
